
The Indian company Imperial Auto has invested 430 million pesos in the opening of its first plant in Latin America, located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. The corporation plans to produce high-pressure tubes for various industries, such as automotive, agricultural, and construction.
The Plant Manager of Mexico at Imperial Auto, Eduardo Aseff Harb Parodi, emphasized the relevance of this new factory, stating that its range of products makes the company a key commercial ally for various industries. Meanwhile, Luis Olivares Martínez, Secretary of Economy of Coahuila, highlighted the importance of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) that is arriving in the region.
The mayor of Ramos Arizpe, Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, noted that the company's choice of this region is due to the favorable conditions it offers, such as security, peace, and labor stability that characterize the state and municipal government. Imperial Auto Industries, founded in India in 1969, is a manufacturer of fluid transmission components and high-pressure tubes for the automotive and industrial sectors, with a presence in over 50 plants worldwide.
